Tom Kindle, a character actor, appeared in numerous television series, features, and on stage. Following military service in South Vietnam, Kindle attended the U. of North Carolina and by 1975 was acting in Off Broadway plays, including "The Soldier". Additional legit credits included "A Touch of the Poet", "The Martian Chronicles", "Time Will Tell", and "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow". Kindle's series TV work included "M*A*S*H", "Evening Shade", "Cheers", "Designing Women", "Remington Steele", "Mork and Mindy", Highway to Heaven" and "Simon and Simon". This film is cursed with only an early 80's tape master in 4:3 and a letterbox standard def master that was apparently made and abandoned without even a Laserdisc or DVD release. The only passable widescreen version is the Spanish PAL DVD which is low quality and noisy using this abandoned standard def master but sped up due to PAL. It uses the title Aqui, un Amigo. This film cries out for a proper transfer to happen at least once.
